John Lewis has put YES apart of their community matters programme. Now to April we are one of three local charities that will benefit from their green token scheme. So every transaction you make in John Lewis at High Wycombe, you can claim a green token and then put it in our box. (The box is to be found just outside the cafe on the top floor) Please support us, thank you all and a big thank you to #johnlewis! #fingerscrossed #greentokenscheme

Mental health help

On the BBC news today it has been reported schools are struggling to get mental health help. A survey has been carried out to mark the Children's Mental Health Week- found 44% of head teachers said knowing what type of support was needed was a barrier to them providing mental health support for pupils.

Here at Y.E.S we provide local schools with a counselor, we acknowledge we need more counselors at more schools, however at the agency we offer counselling to 13-25 year olds. If you have a son, daughter or yourself feel you need to speak to someone please get in touch.

Aviva Community Fund

Update: voting has now closed. Thank you to everyone who voted!

YES is bidding for some funds from Aviva and we have a project on their Community Fund website.  If we get lots of votes, we get through to the next round and might end up with £5000!

Anyone can vote and each person who registers on the site gets 10 votes (and you can click the box for no contact afterwards).  There's only THREE days to get your votes in so, if you have a spare 5 minutes, voting for us could make a real difference in our efforts.  The instructions are below.

How do I enter?

Go to www.community-fund.aviva.co.uk
Once registered, go to 'Vote Now'.
It will ask who you want to vote for; type in the name of our project in the first box.
‘Group Support for Children in Crisis’
It will ask how many votes you want to give - you are allowed 10 votes, please give them all to us!
If we get the most votes, we are Finalists and then judged on our bid.

Thank you!

Support us through the Wycombe Lotto

You can support YES for as little as £1

We have just launched our Wycombe Lotto page.

To find out more about it or enter you can find it at https://www.wycombelotto.co.uk/support/youth-enquiry-service-wycombe.

What is Wycombe Lotto?

Wycombe Lotto is an exciting weekly lottery that raises money for good causes in Wycombe District. All good causes supported by the lottery will benefit Wycombe District and its residents.

Play the lottery, Support Wycombe District - it’s that simple!

Tickets for the lottery cost just £1 per week. Each ticket has a 1 in 50 chance to win a prize each week, with a top prize of £25,000! That’s a better chance of winning than the National Lottery or the Health Lottery!

How do I enter?

Entering the lotto is simple  click here to go to support us or you can just buy tickets.

Each ticket will consist of 6 numbers and each number will be between 0 and 9. There will be a draw every Saturday night when a 6 digit winning combination will be picked.

Prizes will be given to players with tickets that match the first or last 2-6 numbers from the winning combination. Match all 6 and you win the JACKPOT!

To find out more about Wycombe Lotto and the terms and conditions visit https://www.wycombelotto.co.uk/

Please note you must be 16 or over and physically located in the UK to enter

Vote for us!

UPDATE - voting has now closed. Thank you to everyone who voted for us!

Our project has been shortlisted for a public vote in Tesco's Bags of Help initiative!  Vote for us to win the top prize in store!

Vote in Tesco store Princes Risborough during August to help secure a Tesco Bags of Help grant.

Our project is called 'Support the Supporters'

Tesco teamed up with Groundwork to launch its community funding scheme, which sees grants of £4000, £2,000 and £1,000 - all raised from the 5p bag levy - being awarded to local community projects.

Bags of Help offers community groups and projects across the UK a share of revenue generated from the 5p charge levied on single use carrier bags,  the public will now vote in store during August on who should receive the awards. For more info visit www.tesco.com/bagsofhelp
